★ Please note: Course registration is finalized only upon tuition payment (May 26–29).
If tuition is not paid within the designated period, the registration will be automatically canceled.
1. Class Period: June 24 (Tue) – July 21 (Mon)
Courses are held 4 days a week (Mon–Thu). However, some foreign language courses from the Seoul Campus may follow a 5-day schedule. Please check the course timetable.
2. Tuition Fee: 1 credit: 107,900 won / 2 credits: 215,800 won / 3 credits: 323,700 won

4. Course Registration
A. Eligibility: KU enrolled/leave-of-absence students and credit exchange students from other universities
B. How to Register: Log in to the Course Registration System http://sugang.korea.ac.kr
C. Course Register System Log in:
1) KU students: Use your student ID and password
2) Exchange students: Use your temporary KU student ID and last 7 digits of your Korean resident registration number
D. Course Opening Criteria: Based on Article 4 of the KU Academic Operations Guidelines (course may be canceled if not enough students register)
E. Credit & Grade Policy:
1) Up to 9 credits may be earned during seasonal terms (including International Summer/Winter Terms)
2) Grades are recorded separately as ‘Seasonal Term’ but are included in GPA
3) Students on leave of absence cannot graduate immediately after completing summer/winter terms
4) Notes:
- Refunds will not be issued for personal reasons. Please register carefully.
No changes allowed after the registration/revision period.
- Up to 18 credits (including seasonal terms) may be earned for internship courses; up to 3 credits for physical education courses
- Failure to pay tuition will result in automatic cancellation, which may cause the course to be closed.
- From 2016-1 semester, courses offered by Sejong Campus may only be retaken once.
F. Prerequisite Rule: You cannot register for a course if the prerequisite course’s grade has not been confirmed.
If you are currently taking a prerequisite course, you cannot register for its subsequent course during the seasonal term registration period.
G. Courses with grades not yet finalized as of the registration date cannot be retaken during the seasonal term.
5. Payment Method: Transfer to the virtual Hana Bank account assigned per course (must pay separately per course)
6. Course Cancellation Notice:
Will be posted on June 5 (Thu) via KU Portal
Students affected may re-register on June 10 (Tue)
7. Course Cancellation & Refund Policy: If you wish to cancel your course registration after paying the tuition, you may receive a refund according to the date of cancellation as outlined below.
(Cancellation, withdrawal, or changes are not allowed outside the designated period.)
