[The Sejong Institute of International Affairs and Education] Recruitment of Mentors for the 2025 Summer Korean Language Intensive Program (KLIP)

The Sejong Institute of International Affairs and Education at Korea University Sejong Campus operates the Korean Language Intensive Program (KLIP), a regular Korean language study course.

We are now recruiting mentors to assist international students with daily life adaptation during their language studies, as outlined below. We welcome applications from those who are interested.

 

A. Eligibility: Undergraduate students currently enrolled at Korea University Sejong Campus (Leave of absence students, graduates, and graduate students are NOT eligible to apply)

B. Number of Positions:
Approximately 00 mentors
※The final number of selected mentors may vary depending on the number of summer session students

C. Responsibilities: Mentoring support for international language students

- Assisting students with daily life during the summer semester

- Weekly office support and student consultation (once a week)

- Providing guidance on-campus and off-campus, including interpretation

- Assisting with class-related tasks such as exam supervision and event support

 

D. Benefits:

- A scholarship of 800,000 won will be awarded upon successful completion of the program

- Additional scholarship for outstanding mentors
※Scholarship may be reduced or canceled if responsibilities are not faithfully fulfilled
※Outstanding mentors will be selected based on attendance, student satisfaction, and instructor feedback

 

E. Program Duration: June 4, 2025 – August 13, 2025

F. Recruitment Schedule:

1) Application Submission: Download and submit the application form by email (thinkglobal@korea.ac.kr)

- Submission Period: April 21, 2025 – May 8, 2025 (by 11:59 PM)

2) Document Screening Results Announcement: Expected between May 12 – May 16, 2025

3)   Interviews: Scheduled for one day between May 20 – May 21, 2025 (Only shortlisted applicants will be notified individually)

4)   Result Announcement: Expected on May 23, 2025 (Only successful applicants will be notified individually)

5)   Orientation for Selected Mentors: One day in June 2025, from 2 PM to 3 PM (Details to be individually notified)
